Thaicom PLC satellite business keep its growth in 2012 as posted in its press release dated November 13, 2012.

God willing, the growth trend of Thaicom business is expected to continue with the launch of its Thaicom 6 satellite next year (2013). As of this writing, its pre-launch booking target of 30% has already been exceeded way ahead as planned. Thaicom 6 will help the company to further solidify its ‘hotbird’ position at 78.5 degrees East and give it the opportunity to enter the African market, where a very high potential has been seen.

Moreover, just few weeks ago its marketing campaign of Thaicom 6 in Africa was just officially launched, and the capacity is now advertised as AFRICOM-1.
